MSNBC poll about overlooked Rock and Roll non-Hall of Famers
While I don't usually post stuff about Rush not being in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I wanted to post a link to this MSNBC poll about which band should be in the Hall of Fame.

To me, it's obvious Rush should be in the Hall of Fame, but it's also not really that important. Rush has never been a band that's played by the rules, and I don't think they need to start now. It's the same reason they will probably never appear on the cover of Rolling Stone. If they ever get in the Hall of Fame, they will probably graciously accept the honor -- but I'd like to see them do what the Sex Pistols did.
As Woody Allen said in Annie Hall (paraphrasing Groucho Marx), "I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member."
